Our next season – you guessed it – is all about local drinks in India. That’s it, that’s the theme of enthucutlet’s ninth season. And you can play with it any way you like.

Yes, gin has been having a moment, but what about jigarthanda?

Yes, there have been reams written about champagne. Now we want to nerd out about chhaang.

We’re looking for all sorts of curious ideas, narratives, and backstories about drinks that have any sort of connection with India. Heritage Indian cola brands or the latest desi craft beer, pathimugam or tanka toraani, ambil or doodh soda, kadha or tharra – we’re thirsty for them all.

Even better, astonish us with an idea for an unusual story, a revelatory guide, a reel that’s unreal. Give us the lowdown on a local libation that we know nothing about, yet.

Summer is nearly upon us. For enthucutlet’s Drinks season, we’re keen on ideas that are refreshing. Give it a shot.
