Did you know the Halwa made in every Indian home originated in Persia? And today Halwa in India is made using everything from basic atta to nuts and dry fruit enriched versions and exotic options like gosht and even garlic, and chilies!
At enthuMeet’s latest workshop – explore the journey of the ubiquitous Indian halwa and discover the staggering repertoire of offerings it has come to encompass!
The Indian kitchen can make a halwa of anything given some ghee and sugar! Come be inspired by the versatility of the Indian kitchen through the eyes of a masterful culinary chronicler, Rushina Munshaw Ghildiyal, as she takes us on a delicious journey of compelling stories, enriched with ghee, cheeni…and pyaar bhara halwas!
We promise you’ll leave with happy bellies, hearts and some delicious stories. After all, as the monsoons give way to winter, it is a time for indulgence…
